November 21st, 2006 - Flash - .SWI vs .FLA
Alan, Danny, Man,
I’ve done a little digging and there doesn’t appear to be an easy way to convert between .fla (Flash) and .swi (Swish) files. You can export from Swish to .swf and import it to Flash or vice versa, but data can be lost. Rather than second guess our conversion I’d suggest that we simply recreate Man’s first iteration of the quiz in Flash and take it from there.

October 30th, 2006 - Post-Customer Meeting
Big thanks to Brenda and Walking Shield for supplying us with a pizza dinner tonight, we’re still here at the UCI computer lab at 9PM so we greatly appreciate the meal. Big thanks! Also - the Walking Shield crew requests the entire team’s presence for next week’s customer meeting so they can get a snapshot of the crew for their upcoming newsletter.
October 29th, 2006 - Final Demo Presentation Times
Scheduling conflicts are arising with regards to the final customer demo we need to have. Originally scheduled for Dec 1, it is a 45 min presentation that requires the entire project team, the customer contact team, as well as Prof. Ziv and Amir.

October 25th, 2006 - Assignments Updated for 10/27
New teammeber tasks are up for this week under the “Assignments” tab at the top of the site, definitely be sure to check it out and see what you are responsible for.
Man, an extra heads up for you - even though you completed Test Plan 2 last week, you need to incorporate into it design-level tests. Review the course website or speak to Amir for clarification if necessary.
October 23rd, 2006 - First Milestone and Assignments for 10/27
We have now reached our first milestone with Customer Requirements Iteration 3. With those requirements baselined we are now proceeding with development and design. We need to start pressing forward with our chosen solutions under the tentative design we’ve laid out. For all of you guys that have been chomping at the bit to start coding - now’s the time.

October 23rd, 2006 - Input to second ppt please
I need input from all of you for our ppt slides. please take a look at the slides and let me know what you want to put in your section. In terms of learning curve, I want you to tell me what you have learn so far and problems or difficulty you have encountered so far.
This is the order of the slides:
- Brief outline of finalized requirements (Darren)
- Second iteration of graphics (Alan)
- Front-end functionality and use cases
(Matt - I’ll provide use case diagrams)
- Back-end functionality and use cases (Danny - I’ll provide use case diagrams)
- Back-end forums (Man)
October 19th, 2006 - New ppt
Please take a look at the new ppt presentation. I know we can have a bunch in it, but I don’t have much time to do it today, so I put as much of our progress as possible into the sides. We will definately look it over this weekend.
